For the eighth successive year Deutsche Messe will be presenting the EUROPEAN BIOTECHNICA AWARD. It is the most established and important prize in Europe, and is aimed at European based companies working in biotechnology and the life sciences who have developed particularly innovative products, services and associated business ideas.
Since 2003 the EUROPEAN BIOTECHNICA AWARD has been organised by Deutsche Messe AG, Hannover, organiser of BIOTECHNICA, Europe's No.1 event for biotechnology and life sciences.
This year's Award Ceremony will take place on the occasion of the festive Opening Ceremony of BIOTECHNICA on Monday, October 4th, 2010, in the Convention Center on the Hannover fair grounds.
This AWARD is devoted to European enterprises in the fields of biotechnology or life sciences with proven success in launching innovative products or services, or in implementing promising new business concepts. To qualify for the competition, applicants must have a successful track record of at least two years in the above mentioned markets. As such, established newcomers qualify to participate, but not recent start-ups.
