reMYND receives a positive tax ruling on the income from its Roche collaboration

reMYND NV has received a positive ruling from the Belgian Tax Authorities. The ruling stipulates that the upfront license fee, all milestone payments and royalties linked to Roche Basel will qualify for the patent income deduction under Articles 205 WIB 92. read more

QUINVITA and the Hagen Desert Farming Project sign a strategic alliance on Jatropha curcas

The Hagen Desert Farming Project (HDFP), a humanitarian initiative designed for the most environmentally challenged northern states in Nigeria and the industrial crop technology company, QUINVITA announced today they have entered into a major strategic Jatropha development alliance. Under the signed agreement, as a member of the QUINVITA knowledge platforms for breeding, cultivar development and agronomy, HDFP will access the QUINVITA PRO (QVP) seed cultivars for planting in the project. Both companies agree that this relationship will provide the basis for an extensive collaboration on the testing and demonstration of different Jatropha lines, especially selected for adaptation to West‐Africa and appropriate agronomy, applicable by out‐growers who will be engaged by the HDFP. read more

VIB Nucleomics Core, former VIB MAF, now offers next-gen sequencing, microarrays, nCounter analysis

For more than 10 years, the VIB MicroArray Facility (MAF) has served the academic and industrial life sciences community with its microarray expertise. Over the past few months, the service has extended its range of nucleic acid analysis, including next-gen sequencing platforms. “We decided to change the name to VIB Nucleomics Core,” says Peter Verhasselt, research manager. “Now, we are offering many nucleic acid analyses, while at the same time riding the omics wave. The new name reflects this shift.” read more

Multiplicom and IFFMEDIC sign agency agreement for Central Europe

Today Multiplicom and IFFMEDIC announced that IFFMEDIC will act as Multiplicom's agent for the marketing and sales of its molecular diagnostic kits in Central Europe. This agreement is in line with Multiplicom’s strategy to improve access to innovative molecular genetic tests as well as providing expert technical support to medical genetics labs. read more

MDxHealth Receives CLIA Certification and California State License for its Clinical Laboratory

MDxHealth SA (NYSE Euronext: MDXH), a leading molecular diagnostics company in the field of personalized medicine, announced today that its state-of-the-art, 13,448 sq.ft clinical laboratory facility in Irvine, California has received Clinical Laboratory Improvements Amendments (CLIA) certification of registration from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). In addition, MDxHealth’s laboratory has passed inspection by the California Department of Health, and is now fully licensed and operational. read more
