VERVIT is a young company exploiting its high expertise in the use of TIS (Temporary Immersion System), offering competitive technologies and solutions for in vitro plant production for diverse applications.

Company Profile

The activities of VERVIT are centered in the use of TIS for in vitro plant propagation, and are divided in four main groups:

In vitro plant propagation: diverse plant species are produced by demand in our lab.
Seed potato material: specialized in starting potato material for seed potato programs, VERVIT offers both, F0 material (in vitro plants and microtubers) as F1 material (minitubers). Material could be from free varieties as from protected varieties via required authorizations.
Technology transfer and support: VERVIT can transfer technologies and advice companies that intend to use TIS technology. From designing the lab installation, till generating specific protocols for desired plant species.
TIS technology: VERVIT is as well generating new technologies, focus on optimizing the use of TIS for plant propagation. A new bioreactor series has been created (SETIS™), which will be the commercial TIS platform of VERVIT.

Science & Technology or Services

The research activities of VERVIT are focused on plant tissue culture protocols for plant propagation, both using traditional methods as using TIS technology. Another part of the research activities are linked to TIS technology itself.
