Science & Technology or Services

Pronota employs a breakthrough proteomics technology to quantitatively analyze protein expression profiles, protein processing and post-translational modifications in any biological sample. It relies on a chromatography-based isolation of subsets of peptides, representative for their parent proteins. Isolated peptides are analyzed with mass spectrometry and
assigned to their parent protein by interrogating databases.

Pronota's platform allows a systematic identification of novel aminoterminally processed forms of proteins, paving the way to identify the cleaved substrates of proteases, to perform protease inhibitor lead profiling and to discover novel variants of secreted proteins (candidate biotherapeutics).
