Pfizer is commercializing more than 80 medicines for human health covering many different therapeutic areas mainly in the following areas: cardiology, central nervous system, rheumatology, pain, urology, infectious diseases, ophthalmology, diabetes, hormonal therapies and oncology.
In animal health we are particularly covering infectious diseases, anti-inflammatory products and vaccines.
Pfizer develops comprehensive scientific information about it products and related medical areas. In addition we are also offering high level educational programs for physicians and other healthcare professionals such as Partners in Practice. Finally we are proposing programs for physicians and their patients to optimize or improve the quality of care.

Alliances

Pfizer is performing many clinical trials in Belgium with its existing and new products. In 2007 more than 40 phase I &II clinical trials were conducted in clinical research center and more than 90 clinical trials phases II to IV with more than 2,000 patients in universities and hospitals.
We have also research collaboration contracts with the University of Ghent, the KULeuven, the University of Brussels and are financially supporting many other R&D projects.
Pfizer International has numerous co-operations and collaborations with various biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
