As a contract research laboratory EggCentris is specialised in the analysis of the reproductive function. They offer question-directed project research and screening of compounds in their unique battery of innovative multi-parametric long-term in vitro bioassays assessing effects on female and male fertility and embryo toxicity. In-Vitro test batteries:

Female fertility : FBA (Follicle Bioassay; assessment of ovarian cycle, steroidogenesis, oocyte development),IVM (In vitro maturation; assessment of the meiotic process), IVF (In vitro fertilisation; functional assessment of gamete (oocyte/sperm) quality. MEA( mouse embryo assay).

Male fertility: Leydig and Sertoli cell cultures, Sperm analysis.

Embryo toxicity: MEPA (mouse peri-implantation assay), EST (embryonic stem cell test)

Model development (in vitro; ex-vivo and in vivo)

Quality control for fertility treatment : MEA (mouse embryo assay), SMA (sperm motility assay), IVF (in-vitro fertilisation), LAL (kinetic chromogenic method for quantification of endotoxins).
