Business Focus

DCILABS develops high-end image analysis software for (microscopical and macroscopical) images. This software can be used for high-content screening or for customer-specific assays. Together with their partners, they also developed highly customised ‘vision’ platforms for R&D purposes. They also have a service lab for image recording and image analysis.

Company Profile

DCILABS developes software for automated image analysis of microscopic or macrscopic assays. We can develop new assays from scratch or can provide expertise in automation of certain elements of existing assays (e.g. optimization of sample preparation and image recording methods, software development or assay implementation on automated screening platforms.

We also have a service lab providing in-house screening facilities for screening established assays or for newly developed assays tailored to the needs of our clients.

Science & Technology or Services

As a digital-image based cellular assay development company, DCILABS can provide expertise/service in automation, image processing, light microscopy, development of highcontent cellular assays and sample preparation and pattern recognition for cells and tissues. Its service lab possesses state-of-the-art versatile microscope-based screening platforms for cell, tissue or marker characterization in a wide range of high-content cellular assays. Target customers are the pharmaceutical industry for preclinical compound screening and clinical laboratories for the computer-assisted screening of histopathological samples.

Alliances

DCILABS has an established alliance with the VISION LAB of the University of Antwerp for information exchange concerning imaging and imaging related techniques. Peir is our enineering partner for development of hardware-software platforms.
