Business Focus

Cryo-Save Group is the leading private family bank of human adult stem cells collected from the umbilical cord blood at birth in Europe, with more than 90,000 samples stored in 2008. The group has never been, and does not intend to become, involved in the storage or expansion of embryonic stem cells. It is the fourth largest stem cell storage company in the world by number of samples and has an estimated 50% share of the European market.

The company was founded in 2000 in the Netherlands with its principal operating subsidiary being established in Switzerland. Cryo-Save Group owns or has access to, operating laboratories and storage facilities in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Dubai. Cryo-Save's services are available in 36 countries across three continents (Europe, Asia, Africa).

The Cryo-Save website www.cryo-save.com provides detailed country websites in a rainbow of languages offering parents to express their interests in Cryo-Save services.
