The Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant helps you with:

• the development of biobased products and processes
• scale-up and optimization of bioprocesses
• custom-manufacturing of biobased products at ton scale

You will find a substantial diversity of equipment in our plant: bioreactors for fermentation and biocatalysis as well as chemical reactors for green chemistry.  We offer a large scale of technologies for plant fractionation and biomass pretreatment next to techniques for down-stream-processing, the isolation and reprocessing of the final product to the desirable purity. This includes equipment for evaporation, crystallization, electro-dialysis, extraction, membrane processes, ion exchange, drying, etc. Next to that, we offer the necessary facilities for process and quality control.

Companies and schools can use the Bio Base Europe Training Center process facilitities for tailor-made training programs targeted mainly on bioprocesses. Students can make use of state-of-the-art installations, knowledge and techniques, developed thanks to the close collaboration we have with knowledge and education institutes and the industry.
