Arcom Scientific is a research company specialized in applied clinical immunology. Our mission is the development through strong partnerships of innovative diagnostic products to aid in the early diagnosis of chronic diseases. The innovation is focused on Arcom’s polymer enhanced performance platform and new pathways governing inflammatory and proliferative disease.
Arcom Scientific was founded late 2006 as a spin-off from Aptec Diagnostics, a Belgian company with an excellent track record in the turbidimetric determination of serum proteins. Arcom is a small research driven company operating in the field of applied clinical biochemistry. Arcom’s activities are focused on two major innovations. Firstly, a diagnostic invention comprising a polymer enhanced performance technology platform for in vitro diagnostic use. This technology greatly enhances the specificity, sensitivity and turnaround time for a wide range of diagnostic tools. Two international patent applications have been filed. Secondly, Arcom’s new insights into immunology led to the creation of an innovative theory regarding the etiopathology of chronic diseases. ARCOM now wants to explore this basis for a new predictive and personalised medecine further through targeted reseach.
Based on its invention and expertise in medical diagnostics and immunology, Arcom is building a strong I.P. portfolio and partnerships for the development of innovative diagnostic technologies.
