On Tuesday, June 12th the Flanders’ Microfluidics and Microreactor Consortium (fmmc) and Vito organize a seminar on microfluidic separation techniques. Although microreactor technology is a known and valuable technique, downscaled separation techniques remain a large problem, inhibiting the total growth of this microreactor field: the separation of reagents, catalysts, side products, etc. at the end of the reactor with a possible recycling back into the cycle is one of the main gaps in the technology.
