Knowledge for Growth is FlandersBio's annual life sciences convention. The 2010 edition will focus on Collaboration Driving Innovation Forward. All information can be found on the dedicated website www.knowledgeforgrowth.be.
On Thursday 20 May 2010, FlandersBio organises the sixth edition of its annual life sciences convention Knowledge for Growth at the ICC ghent.
Focus: Collaboration Driving Innovation Forward
KfG 2010 will focus on collaboration. Without it, sustainable growth in the life sciences sector is not possible. By looking at past and present collaborations between biotech and pharma, win-win situations can be identified and lessons drawn from successful ‘deals.’ Different cases will be presented. The focus will not be only on health and medical innovations, but also on industrial and plant biotech ventures.
The principal ingredients of the convention are networking, keynote scientific lectures, science, technology and management presentations and a trade and poster exhibition. Just like last year, we will also organise a Job Fair, giving companies and jobseekers in the life sciences an opportunity to get to know each other.
The participants are biotech, medical technology and pharma companies, as well as academic research institutes and providers of capital, services and technologies to the life sciences community.
With 720 individual participants and featured stands or presentations from over 80 companies, last year's edition was the most successful edition since its inception. Click here for an overview of the participants last year.
