FlandersBio's first Biotech Cycling Event

On 26 September 2009 FlandersBio organised its First Biotech Cycling Event: a Cycling tour in the Flemish Ardennes amongst colleagues working in the biotech sector (both industry and academia). Serge Baguet - former Belgian professional cyclist - and its team were our guide. We see this event as an ideal way for networking.

About 40 enthusiastic cyclists gathered at 9 AM for breakfast at the Sports Centre of Sint-Lievens-Houtem. After that, there was a cycling tour of approximately 65-70 Km. The group was divided in a sports and a recreational group, so that everyone felt comfortable. After the cycling tour there was a joint lunch.
