Het CMI werd opgericht door de Vlaamse Overheid om het translationeel biomedisch onderzoek in Vlaanderen te promoten en te stimuleren, met de Vlaamse Biobank als hefboom. Het CMI wil zo bijdragen om de sterke onderzoeksresultaten in de Vlaamse kennisinstellingen en de biomedische sector om te zetten naar producten en diensten voor de patiënt. Om deze doelstellingen in de praktijk om te zetten, organiseert het CMI deze workshop om het proces voor nieuwe translationele samenwerkingsprojecten op te starten. De mogelijkheden van het CMI, voorbeeldprojecten en de wijze van financiering zullen worden toegelicht en besproken. read more

Building on the success of the UC Davis Plant Breeding Academy in the United States, UC Davis is partnering with European institutions and associations to offer Class III of the European Plant Breeding Academy.
