At the occasion of BioJapan 2017, the leading partnering event for the biotech and life sciences industry in Asia, flanders.bio and FIT Tokyo are joining forces for the organisation of a Flemish Biotech and Life Sciences Week in Japan from October 9th-13th, 2017.
Japan is the 2nd largest life sciences market in the world. Since a few years all Japanese pharma companies are intensively looking for licensing opportunities to fill their drying pipelines. Participation to the Flemish Biotech and Life Sciences Week is a unique opportunity for your company to explore this market. Over the past 15 years, many Flemish companies & organisations have joined us to Japan, and have started doing business with Japanese partners.

This event is co-organised by Senri Life Science Foundation and the EU-Japan Centre (via Enterprise Europe Network). We expect more than 50 EU-companies from different clusters and more than 50 Japanese companies from the Osaka/Kobe Life Sciences cluster.

The seminar will take place in a separate lecture hall at the BioJapan exhibition site. All visitors to BioJapan 2017 are welcome to attend (upon registration). Simultaneous translation English – Japanese.

For companies who wish to extend their visit over the weekend, Flanders Investment & Trade Tokyo will be happy to set up additional face-to-face meetings with Japanese pharmaceutical companies and/or organisations on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th.
