FlandersBio is the driving force for the sustained growth of the life sciences and biotechnology sector. The aim of our projects is to build enough critical mass to attract companies, investors and service providers.

Euregional PACT II, the Euregional Platform for Advancing Cancer Treatment

Aims of the project

Combining the complementary knowledge and expertise present at the Maastricht University, University of Antwerp, K.U.Leuven, UGent and RWTH Aachen to improve cancer treatment by developing innovative anti-cancer therapeutics.
Bridging universities and life science industry by establishing cross-border collaborations stimulating innovation and product development in the field of oncology and creating a virtual Research Platform to rapidly evaluate the efficacy of cancer treatment.

The project website provides companies in the life sciences with a toolbox, indicating the cutting-edge technologies available within the partner universities.

Approach

Organizing workshops, board meetings and participation to Lifetec Business Cafés and Biomedica Life Science Summits to further disseminate knowledge and expertise.
